Do Nails Have To Be Roughed Up For Shellac Polish

  • #ii

During my training course the other week, we were shown to crude buff the nail to quite an farthermost. I take heard varying views on this thing and I'chiliad not sure it is the right thing to do. When I have buffed (the hell out of the nail as shown in my course) the nails have been very bumpy as though there was residue in them. This did not happen to the same extent when I didn't buff.
To rough vitrify or not to?
Thanks

Where did yous train ? Im guessing information technology wasn't an official CND Shellac Brings Tham Back class every bit CND do not teach the states to vitrify the blast for shellac application - quite the opposite infact ? This is one of the beauties of Shellac it doesn't need the nail to exist buffed .

Definitely no buffing. That's the beauty of shellac. There is no need to.

You are not trained to buff nails prior to shellac service.

Did you train with CND ten ten

Gosh no, admittedly non! I'm afraid you accept not been taught official CND protocol - if y'all had, you would know that we don't even tickle the nail with a file/buffer to remove surface shine, never mind 'vitrify the hell out of the nail'. What a shame for you lot.

For anyone that is interested, a CND Shellac Brings Them Back course booked via Sweet Squared with an official CND Education Administrator is fantastic value for money - in fact it costs less than I charge for 2 Shellac manicures - and you lot will get a certificate that is valid for insurance purposes, and so in that location actually is no logic in training with a non-CND-approved provider.

Hi

Yep no rough buffing before shellac that is not CND protocol and is non how a CND education embassador would accept trained you lot - and then where did you railroad train and was it CND shellac? Or another gel product?

Y'all do not demand to "buff the hell out of it" ever. Never e'er. Even before products that do require buffing, you lot should only e'er remove surface shine with no less than 240 grit file. . Care of the natural blast is priority in my stance.

once again shellac-no shine removal/buffing / surface filing.

at that place should be no "rough buffing" before whatever service ..... end of

What was the course you attended meant to be training you lot in?

Nails in general or Shellac or anther product entirely.

We dont talk over preparation costs on this site equally anyone can read them, looks like yous have been Pm'ed by a kind geek though.

You do not vitrify and you should be doing a total hand. I would imagine y'all should have at least been shown this?! And you seal Shellac, you don't cap it.

Telephone call the "trainers" and find out what exactly they thought they were doing!

Do the official Shellac training. Worth every penny.

Where did you buy the kit from?

Is it all CND? Does the lamp say CND?

Shellac is a ability polish not gel, that might be me getting the wrong end of the stick with your post though.

Bumps under the product generally tend to be cuticle or product, cotton wool etc which has not been removed correctly.

Get on that course :)

You'll find yourself so much more than confident once you lot have.

I am surprised they are allowed to teach this if they are pedagogy it incorrectly although I had the same with a Minx form I attended, I did information technology through a local college and expected it to exist the right people didactics etc, we were taught to buff, I now know there is no need to exercise then after proper preparation.

I hope something can exist done about this.
